Yes, you read that right—100 domes, elegantly arranged to welcome a guest list like no other. This wasn’t just any wedding. The celebration was held for a family closely linked with the Menteri Besar of Pahang, with high-profile attendees including prominent business leaders, former parliament members such as Khairy Jamaluddin (KJ) and his wife, well-known national TV personalities, and more.
Dome Dining Experience: A Touch of Luxury
In contrast to buffet catering, a dome diningset-up provides exclusiveness and prestige. Every single table was fully decorated in advance starting at 4 PM with our crew laying out fine dining cutlery, table props, and client-provided personal gifts. By 6 PM, our catering, RUANG Makan began serving traditional Malay wedding food inside every dome. Guests enjoyed the following dishes:
Nasi Minyak, Udang Masak Merah, Daging Rendang, Daging Hitam, Dalca Sayur, Fried Dory Fish.
All food was served hot and fresh to each table to allow a private dining atmosphere around each dome in another level of dining that was different from sitting at a buffet.
Wedding Decoration That Stood Out
The stunning pelamin (wedding dais), table centerpieces, and walkway décor were masterfully designed by RUANG’s trusted partner, Encik Ramzee from Fahrenheit69. His eye for detail brought elegance and charm to the entire hall, perfectly complementing the grandeur of the dome dining setup.
A Night of Elegance and Networking
By 7 PM, guests began filling the hall. With the seated arrangement, registrations were handled smoothly at the entrance, creating an orderly yet warm welcome.
Among the highlights of the night:
• A heartwarming reunion with one of RUANG’s past clients who attended as a guest.
• A surprise appearance by Khairy Jamaluddin (KJ), the former Health Minister, accompanied by his wife.
• A warm greeting from the Menteri Besar of Pahang.
The evening’s atmosphere was elevated with live performances by The HoogaBand, whose soulful music kept guests entertained until late at night.
Even after the bride and groom made their grand entrance at 8:30 PM, the energy never dipped. By 10 PM, many guests lingered, networking in groups across the hall and spacious lounge area—turning the wedding into not just a celebration of love, but also a vibrant social event.
