Last month, our RUANG team had the chance to visit the venue — and let’s just say, the moment we arrived, we knew it was something special.
First Impressions: A Scenic Escape in Rawang
Upon entering SP Setia Eco Templer, the first thing we noticed was the beautiful views. Surrounded by hills and greenery, this is a great escape for any kind of event — wedding, corporate or otherwise — that needs a picture-perfect location. The main building has a European feel to it, with an elegant white exterior and grand design. The friendly SP Setia team met us and presented the venue, explaining what makes it such a popular event location in Rawang.
Exploring the Event Spaces
One of the hall’s standout features is its proximity to a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by scenic greenery. There’s also a cozy holding room adjacent to the hall that opens directly to the poolside — ideal for pre-event preparations or casual networking#
As we moved on, we entered the main ballroom, and it certainly was just breathtaking. This ballroom has the capability of seating over 45 round tables at one time, and is as grand as can be expected. Eight beautiful chandeliers hang from the ceiling and light up a large stage area as well as two large projector screens in the ballroom — perfect for those unforgettable annual banquets, gala evenings and larger weddings.
Just outside the ballroom, the buffet line extends along a hallway overlook ing the hills and pool. The atmosphere was comfortably elegant and refreshing, with large high tables available for extra mingling.
Beyond the Ballroom: Training & Executive Rooms
SP Setia Eco Templer also presents executive suites and training rooms that are excellent for corporate workshops, seminars or meetings alike. With a variety of rooms that are available (such as the popular Alia Hall), a company has a variety of options to suit groups of different sizes. We did not, however, get a chance to see Alia Hall (an event was taking place), but were informed that its beautiful location in a corner of the second floor gives a panoramic view of the hills which makes it one of the cutest and most inspiring places there are for productive meetings.
