RUANG Shah Alam is now READY and we have run a few events already and in this blog we will showcase to you our new and improved RUANG Shah Alam. After 11 years, we have moved on from industrial look to a ballroom concept. The new vibe would give you a proper ballroom hotel vibe but at a fraction of the price!
To those who don’t know, RUANG Shah Alam is an event space in Sec 16, Shah Alam. We are about 5 mins from i-City and its landed perfect for those who look for an indoor and outdoor area right in Shah Alam.
Firstly let’s start from the facade. We have constructed 2 permanent stalls that you can use for your bakar-bakar like satay, kambing golek (roast lamb), char kuey teow even noodle stations, air balang or any food stalls at all.

Lets move on to the interior. We have installed carpet and for 12 years in operation, this is the very first time we have an event space of our own with carpet!
The ceiling is plaster ceiling and notice the walls with the LED Strips that gives you that premium feel. Now, moving on to the star of the venue. LED Screen! This is also the first time we have installed a permanent LED Screen. We still have the usual projector & screen. Addition to use the LED Screen is just RM1,500! (We do outside events too and deal with many venues on LED Screen and trust us, RM1,500 is a real steal!
